In cooperation with Fotostiftung Schweiz, Fotomuseum Winterthur organises a variety of activities for families. With its alternating programme, the public children’s workshop “Sunday Early Bird” introduces children aged 5 to 12 to the world of photography while their parents can participate in a public guided tour through one of the exhibitions either at Fotomuseum Winterthur or Fotostiftung Schweiz. Special days like the “Pinhole Camera Day” or the “International Museum Day” offer a diversified programme of workshops and informative tours for young and old – ideal for a family visit.

Children's workshop: “Sunday Early Bird”

In the “Sunday Early Bird” workshop, children between the ages of five and twelve get to experience photography in a range of different ways: be it via the exhibitions at Fotomuseum Winterthur and Fotostiftung Schweiz or through the in-house photo lab. A constantly changing programme promises exciting stories and a great practical experience.

During this workshop, parents are offered a public tour of one of the exhibitions at Fotomuseum Winterthur or Fotostiftung Schweiz. The workshop and the guided tour both take place in German.
